DW03 - Workshop - From User Testing to Prototypes: Making Observations Tangible
Participants will learn to use the results of user interviews and a card sort to prototype new displays and endcaps for a fictional grocery store.

Additionally, they will learn how rapid prototypes compliment lightweight user testing, and practice using prototypes to express a point of view regarding qualitative and quantitative data gathered from user observations.

Personas are archetypes of our patrons that remind us of who we serve and what their motivations and behaviors are. This helps us design better services, spaces, and tools for them. We will discuss using these tools to create a culture of empathy and user-centered design in our libraries.
